Welcome to the Teän’s Silver Shed’s Terms and Conditions for use of this website. This site is provided to you free of charge, for your personal use, subject to these Terms and Conditions.

By using Teän’s Silver Shed site and/or by placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out below. If you do not wish to accept the Terms and Conditions, you should discontinue the use of the site.

Teän’s Silver Shed does not share, sell, rent or disclose our customers names, addresses, email addresses or other personal information to any unaffiliated third party, unless required by law.

 

This Site may contain links to other websites operated by other people or companies. Please be aware that I am not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites. The fact that I link to a website is not an endorsement, authorisation or representation of our connection with that third party. These other websites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you. This Policy addresses information collected through this Site only. I encourage you to read the privacy policies or statements of other websites that you visit.

Payment

 

All payment for Goods and for the cost of packaging and delivery must be made before the Goods are delivered.

Payment online will be made by Paypal. I do not store our customer's financial details.

Please note that the prices of items on our site are liable to change at any time due to the fluctuating cost of silver and materials. These changes will not affect orders that have been placed before this time.

All prices displayed on my website will be viewed as correct, except in cases of obvious error. These prices exclude delivery charges which will be applied upon checkout.

All prices listed on the website are shown in UK pounds sterling.

Product Disclaimer

 

All items of jewellery are custom made to order, please be aware that there may be minor flaws and slight variations in products from the photographs on my website. This is due to the natural materials I use. If on an occasion I feel that the stone or bead does not match the photograph, I will get in contact with you before shipping the item.

​

I try my best to keep a sufficient amount of stock items such as stones and beads. On an occasion of which I am not able to get hold of a specific item and am no longer able to make the piece of jewellery ordered, I will get in contact via email to inform you. I will provide you with an alternative suggestion, or give you the opportunity to cancel your order for a full refund.

​

When an order is made online, the order confirmation issued by the company clearing the credit/debit card payment does not constitute acceptance of your order. I reserve the right to check any discrepancies and an order will only be confirmed when it is verified by myself.

Please note jewellery and gemstones damaged by incorrect cleaning procedures (see Product Care page) cannot be repaired.

Mailing List

On our Site, you have the option to join my email list and receive information about my products, services and offers. If you subscribe to my email list you give me consent to send marketing and promotional information. If you do not wish to receive such information, you may opt out by sending me an email at jewellery@teanssilvershed.co.uk

Gift Vouchers

​

- Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed online

​

- Vouchers expire one year from date of purchase

​

- Gift Vouchers can be used as full or part payment for any purchase and does not have to be used in full at any one time

​

- Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged or returned for cash

Hallmarking

​

I am registered with The London Goldsmiths Company and all my heavier items of jewellery are Hallmarked. It is stated in each individual item description if the piece of jewellery is Hallmarked.

 

Each item that is Hallmarked is sent to London to be stamped, therefore Hallmarked jewellery has a slightly longer turn around time.  Please contact me directly on jewellery@teanssilvershed.co.uk to find out the current time scale.
